Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta and married to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. The fourth generation of the Roberts generation living in Atlanta starting with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. The father of her mother took his first steps towards theater. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 and was also involved in productions outside of Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in productions with Betty Lou Bredemus. They were married in 1955. Their first child, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. After 1957, the couple resigned from the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning television show Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded by themselves. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. The program ran for about six years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
