Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of her four siblings, was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist and a teacher who were both teachers to follow her love of theatre. This contrasted her earlier ambition to pursue a career as a primateologist since she was a fan of monkeys. The actress became famous as a child actress quickly and achieved great achievement. When she finished her education, she participated in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors in the year 2000. She then began a career as an actress. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church in her youth and was raised Catholic. But she has now distanced herself with the Catholic tradition. Alongside her acting profession, she has also pursued modeling. The model was in the commercials for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". In the past, during the Arles Arts Festival, she showed a collection of photographs under the title Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on celebrity and fame, and turns the camera on the journalists who scrutinised her after her meteoric rise in fame and fortune in the film Amelie as well as self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's first big performance, in the role of Amelie Poulain's leading actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie poulain, earned her international stardom. Amelie was recognized internationally because of its box-office success. The film was also recognized in award ceremonies all over the world. It's the biggest French language film ever to be released in the US. Following the film, she appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
